“Afrofuturistic themes, Black culture, or tales with Black characters are central to everything I write about and share,” he says. “Black voices are part and parcel of all my books and stories, and I am unapologetic about this.”

His inspiration for writing The Hollow Vow came from a noticeable absence in the literary landscape.
“I didn’t see very many Black authors writing psychological thrillers, especially male writers.”
